My journey into the world of cosmetology began in early childhood, sparked by a deep passion for art and creativity. From a young age, I found joy in painting and sewing — always drawn to working with my hands. As soon as I could hold a brush, I discovered my love for hair styling. I quickly taught myself every braid imaginable, constantly experimenting on my own hair and offering to style friends and family at every opportunity.

Throughout high school, my passion continued to grow. What started as doing hair for friends at homecoming and prom naturally evolved into a small business, styling girls across the school for special events. It amazed me that something I loved doing could also become a career — a realization that solidified my decision to pursue cosmetology professionally.

After graduating, I took the next step and enrolled at Paul Mitchell Chicago, one of the top cosmetology schools in the state. I graduated early with Honors and was quickly hired at Charles Ifergan, a luxury salon with multiple locations across the Chicagoland area. Splitting my time between the Chicago and Oak Brook locations, I gained invaluable experience working alongside some of the best stylists in the industry.

Now, as a freelance artist, I’m embracing the freedom to create personalized experiences for my clients while working toward my dream of opening my own sustainable salon — a space where beauty and wellness come together with eco-conscious care.
